Contextual has helped identify defects of CMFDeployment and get them resolved.
Contextual has helped identify and resolve defects of the CMFDeployment add-on module for Plone, which helps export Plone CMS dynamic content out to a file system as static files (HTML, CSS, images, etc.)
The CMFDeployment tool can be used to export an entire site, or just part of one, as static HTML and related files, so that a published site does not need the Plone CMS to run on for delivery to visitors.
Instead, a simple web server can be used to serve up such static files, thus reducing the necessary hosting hardware and software requirements and increasing performance dramatically.
