World Plone Day 2013 Announced! - April 24th
World Plone Day will involve over 100 events in over 30 countries around the world. There are usually Plone CMS demos, development 'sprints' organized to build new features, and more.

World Plone Day will be held on April 24th, 2013.
Over the past few years, there have generally been 130-150 events in 30-40 countries around the world.
Typical events include:
- live (in-person or web-based) Plone CMS demonstrations,
- development sprints that help build new features and help new Plone developers get engaged with the community and how it works together to build a world-class web content management system (WCMS) that is used by the very largest and smallest organizations around the world
- local Plone user group meetings
- Plone community socials
