CMS Expo Overview
The CMS Expo (May 3-5, 2010) has traditionally focused on PHP-based open source web content management systems (CMS tools), but added some coverage of Alfresco, Wordpress, and Plone last year.
Location Information
The event is held at the historic Orrington Hotel in downtown Evanston, IL, home of Northwestern University, which is just north of Chicago, IL.
Plone Track at CMS Expo
This year, Contextual Corp., along with Enfold Systems and the Plone Foundation and other Plone experts, have worked with the organizers of CMS Expo to provide 3 FULL DAYS of Plone learning and case study sessions, as well as lightning talks (very short, but powerful presentations from anyone in attendance) and expert panel discussions.
Whether your organization is just starting to evaluate various web CMS tools, you already use Plone and want to improve your user, developer, or designer skills, or you want to see what's new in the forthcoming Plone v4.0 release, you won't want to pass up this great opportunity to learn about Plone from its co-creators and its leading U.S.-based integrators and experts.
If you'd like to register for this event, please click on the 'CMS Expo' sponsor badge on the left column of our website, so that a portion of the registration proceeds benefit the non-profit Plone Foundation that helps manage the Plone CMS project.
We believe everyone from the curious to seasoned experts can benefit from this three day event covering topics such as Plone theming, administration, security, enterprise scalability and search, SEO, CRM integration, and more.
We hope you'll join us!
